I mostly collect Japanese militaria, but I'm always interested in other bits of history when I find them. I got this buckle from a Russian digger who says it was found in the forest south of Staraya Russa. After reading this board a bit I was able to identify it as a RODO and once I knew what to look for I was able to find traces of the RODO stamp despite the corrosion. I know for most of you guys, who have been collecting this sort of thing for years, may not think much of this rusty example, but I really like it and I just wanted to share it here and thank you all for the research and information you have made available.
