I would say its an original buckle, colour looks correct and the wear and battle damage

I mainly collect WW2 passports and odd ID's but the odd SS/SD item would also be welcomed as well

An original ground find for sure.
I can't locate here any battle damage. Straight, homogene lines along the corrision are no indicators.
How ever, it's a nice relic.
