    And why not?
If you want to dis an item it seems to me that you should note one or two reasons.
Otherwise it's like saying the soup needs more salt.

I'd be interested in the smell test.
Put it in a paper bag outside for a day and them smell it; it USUALLY works, especially on cammo helmets.
If it smells new it most likely is.

SS marked leather is a mine field. There is a good sticky thread on SS marked leather. This one doesn’t comparing to numerous examples in the thread. If I was looking at this belt I would pass after looking at the thread.

That will be good for helmets but not for belts, a 1937 leather officer belt of any branch of the NSDAP enhanced with an SS stamp smells like an original SS belt of the same era
I don’t like the stamps, I don’t like the hook, the leather tongue , the stitch…
What do you like of this belt?

I didn't say I liked it, only that to dis it with no reason isn't helpful to him or others.

Now we have some helpful comments for all.

I agree with the latest comments.

Kirby got it bang on, lots of people know about buckles, the belt markings are a very grey area. For IMO I am not keen on the markings, I dont like the SS or the RZM in comparison of known originals. This is not a bad comparison thread

Hello everyone, and thank you for your analysis.

As I am not very comfortable with Ss articles and markings, I preferred to post and have your expertise before losing my money.
The link on the leather markings and your information tells me that I will skip my turn.
Thanks again to all of you.
