Hello , the buckle is non-magnetic. Does it have a chance to be an original buckle ? A friend has an offer to buy this buckle. Thanks for any help

Looks original but but it does not appear to be zinc or aluminium made also I have never seen verdigris stains on zinc or aluminum buckles
I would agree with Ivan, good crimp but strange to have verdigris on an aluminium buckle?

I asked what kind of metal is it ? He replied nickel or alpaca, 100% no aluminum and no zinc. That's the answer I got.
I know, that's why I showed on the forum. I will ask my colleague to examine the metal thoroughly.
The buckle made of colored metal is also smaller. The buckle is bad
Just my opinion but unless the buckle is a recent copy I think the crimp is too good to be a fake, it is certainly a mystery buckle!

Hello, the buckle is a casting. Made on a patented form of rubber. Errors are visible in the enlarged photo.
