I honestly don't know the buckle is in mint condition with the rbnr belt also mint I 'll try to post more photos, perhaps a version made for parade?
...if so...great Ni plated variant, really don't know if post war or parade... ;-)

Hello. I found a old thread on WAF were JP said there is no proof of any silver painted RODO buckles. I think this would also go for plating . I would go with JP's opinion on anything to do with SS buckles.
For me an original buckle that has been plated, I have never known a silver plated buckle like this before
