Nice lid. Puts mine to shame. I think (could be wrong) that the Austrian transitional helmets are pretty hard to find vs the German 16/17/18.
I see that you have already decided to part with it and posted in the classifieds. Will be a great addition to a collection IMHO.

Looks like a Steel liner band with the steel wire chinstrap bale (I could be wrong on this). But Maker / date should be stamped on the band by right chinstrap. I find that often the liners for these transitional do not fit so well and as such have a nice gap so you can easily read. Mine is an aluminum reinforced liner and is marked B&B 1939. And it's a single decal as well.
