Those scrubby green things are great. Not too abrasive and not made out of steel. They do work wonders. I'm alway afraid to treat any leather. Always been told to leave it as is because anything you put on it will over time be worse. True? False?

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

It's already loosened up considerably since the crud was removed...the liner-tongues are the trickiest part once they've dried and stiffened...It all depends on how far the leather is gone, but I think this one can still be somewhat revived...wish me luck!
cheers, GLenn
Nice work Glenn! Well done.

Thanks everybody, your comments and opinions are very much appreciated, especially from my fellow Gold Club Associates...When I speak of a "Labor of Love" here, I can rest assured that you understand completely...
cheers, Glenn
You did an excellent job on it buddy. It is hard to believe how it looks now as to when you received it.
Well done Glenn!
My favorite way of adding to my collection, find an poor orphan that needs a little TLC.
