Yeah, the inside pictures were uploaded later than the first ones and it threw me right off but I wanted to confirm w myself I wasn't just being dense so I wouldn't kick myself later haha

Indeed, in this case the inside really tells everything you need to know.
Not to even mention the major pitting under the paintwork especially on the front.

Not even looking at the inside. The exterior is poorly executed. Contrived reaction of the wire to the shell. No paint on split pins, etc. etc.

Paint over pitting and new chicken wire. Just awful.

Fury, your gut feeling was spot on. When things don’t add up there’s usually something fishy going on. Unfortunately, there will be someone new to collecting who will purchase this helmet but regrettably that’s the nature hobby at times

The contrast between the inside and outside of the shell is the nail in the coffin here. But, as said - you don't even need to venture that far...
