Default Camo M42 Luftwaffe w/ impact damage

I got this in the mail today. Has no liner or rivets. based on the rust and condition I think its a good one but I'm not sure. Can somewhat see the luftwaffe decal through the paint. Appears to have sat in someones garage for the last 60+years. Due to the rust the lot number and makers stamp are hard to read so I don't know those yet.

I'll get some better pictures in a little bit, just saw how bad these are.

    What do you guys think?

Pretty neat, if real it seems that it use to have a wire camo also.

Looks like a recent creation to me. Photos however are such low resolution I can't really confirm either way.

Trying to get better pictures but it appears that my phone's camera doesn't want to work with me. These are the best I can get for now. Maker is ET size 64.

A little better. Not busting your chops but I really can't give an opinion. Camo/Wire helmets require photos of the highest quality given the high quality fakes out there.

I am not a fan of this one unfortunately. Where you would expect to see some interaction between the shell and the wire there is nothing. Particularly as the wire supposedly was flush with the shell you would want to see some rust or rubbing but on this one there is nothing. Also where the wire “ghosting” touches the rim (see left hand side) there appears to be no type of contact either.

Also unusual that the outside of the shell has more paint than the inside skirt. Looking forward to seeing some higher res shots to enable a more informed decision.

If this is a real camo, then why does the camo paint go fully inside the liner? Seems unlikely that this would be the case.
