Civic helmet restored. Wartime or post war?

I was thinking about picking up a repainted beaded m35. Looks decent for display. Would this be a post war or war time example of a civic helmet?

Why would you pay for such a helmet , these are in authentic condition not expensive.

I am familiar with luftschutz and police lids. I have some. I thought if cheap enough it would be neat for part of a display.
Why does anyone do anything....
