And sorry for the non-military question.
Many, many pieces of equipment here in the US are made overseas...for the US Military as well as for Civilian Purposes...The US Army has presentation swords made in Germany, and many Fire Departments use Safety Gear made in Europe as well...
How it got to Hungary is anyone's guess...I'm always amazed at some of the odd items that find their way to the US...and into our collections, lol......
