Indeed. You did. Ha. I’m looking to add a “green” to my collection so. Have some other things cooking first.
I actually can’t tell on phone if that a single (early) or reinforced (has 2 strips / layers of aluminum on the sides. Either way. Very nice.

Will there be a date on it somewhere to establish which it is?

A nice early one that ticks all the boxes as they say.
Congratulations!

Very nice example. You did well on your first foray.

Yes, the band will be dated on the inside between the band and the shell. Generally a maker stamp can be located on one of the rivet legs but unless easily accessible (i.e. not super tight) best to not try and risk damaging the helmet.

Late to the game here. You did well. Agree....don't go digging for dates looking at the liner band. It is a single band example and could crack or bend. We know it is an earlier M35 and that should be enough.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

And DO NOT EVER take the liner out - that will seriously diminish the value.

Great looking helmet. My 1st was an early M35 police also. I got it at a great price and wanted to flip it because I wanted a Luft lid instead. After having it in hand and reading what people said about it I like it so much I kept it.

very nice score!! KUDDOS to you!

That's a good catch, well done. ( maybe reinforced aluminium liner band).
