I don’t know much about M16 helmets or transitional helmets but would this be one?

It's an Austrian shell , it is a transitional but not the nicest one as something seems to have happened with the decals and the exterior paint.
The inside looks nice.
If you are looking to buy it I'd leave it.

I already bought it, only a couple of hundred dollars though, we don’t see many here in Australia, so I bought it on a whim, it’s a shame about the exterior paint thanks again for your information I greatly appreciate it, I also picked up an SS jerry can from the same dealer
