Really? I thought it had quite a nice faded patina to it... Perhaps the photos aren't good enough. Here's the link to the better high-resolution shots:

I'm 50/50 on it. I still am not convinced. But camo's are all about opinions. So I'm sure others may feel differently. But I'm happy to be in the minority.

Just read the description. It is messed with to begin with.
Description
A German M42 helmet with a khaki and green 2-color camo paint which was sprayed to the shell. About 80% are still present.
Decals: no decal applied
Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. Orginal cord. 58 size stamped.
Prongs: Opened once. The liner might have been re-attached.
Chin strap: "44" dated. Attached at a later time
Markings: EF66 to the reverse of the shell
Like Michael from the photos not one I would buy at an auction , truth be told I never buy from auctions.
