Is This Helmet Authentic??

Article about: hey guys, trying to figure out if this german helmet i came across is legit. See attached photos and let me know what you think!

    If it was further to the back of the helmet, I would think it could be a "squad leader" stripe. But on the top? Probably post war vet added.
