Looks like an German M40.

A post war repainted M40 shell. There should be another stamping with the maker mark and size on the inside left of the skirt.

Looks like there is only Q6 as you can see on the photo plus DN357 on the rear side of the helmet. I am wondering if the last digit from Q6 is missing due to repainting ... I was told it was used after the war by some firemen in Czechoslovakia.
Post war Czech fireman is correct.
