    All of these relics were found in one foxhole, in Konigsberg Prussia, with this helmet named to Wm Sasse. A Wilhelm Sasse went missing in action during the battle there.

    here are two from me....

    First is m42 I got from a neighbour (literally) whose Dad picked it up in Holland in 1944 on the way to the Rhine.

    Two fantastic examples Terry! I love the super darkened liner on the 42 and the M18 artwork was obviously rendered by a soldier with an artistic bent.

    What size is the M42? Looks like a smaller one.

    Hi Andy, the m42 is tiny by ww2 standards approx 55cm.
