Actually, the eagle looks okay to me. There are examples of subdued green Luftwaffe decals.
Here is a photo courtesy of the data base on GHW II.
I would wait for other opinions.

Interesting Ralph, I had never seen these before! Comparing the helmets decal to these un-used ones, it does appear to be a good match, but as Dan state's, the helmets "battleship grey" seems an odd colour for a Luftwaffe helmet? I have to be honest and say that I cannot make up my mind whether this is all correct or a modern re-furb now! Leon.

Another from GHW II.
This one is, I believe, a "shipboard grey" with a different decal. Although I have not seen one identical to the original one posted, I believe it is possible.
As I don't study helmets, I can't vouch for it's authenticity though.

But i fail to see the logic of using a subdued decal on a light coloured helmet??? On a luft grey or field division cammoed sure but this?
