As well this forums classifieds German Helmet Walhalla classifieds is generally bulletproof. Currently only veteran members have access but that's changing soon so new members can view and buy.

Welcome to the forum John, the helmet is definitely not a period cammo as you already now know. Here in the UK we are really short of good quality helmet dealers so I would recommend that you look at the sites Doug has provided. They are all very well respected dealers and I myself have bought from a couple of them, just remember that you may get hit with import tax! All the best in your hunt, Leon.

Thank you both for the info very much appreciated. I am currently losing hours on helmets whether it's pictures information or potential buys I seem to have become obsessed. But definitely don't want to waste my money this forum has already saved me from a false buy an given me valuable information in my thirst for knowledge . The cammo goes back tomorrow then I can search for something else . Cheers guys
