This one looks to have been protected somewhat by oil or something similar. In the first photo there appears to be to a ghosted impression of the shape created when a Luftwaffe decal is painted around. Interesting relic.

this m-40 helmet with Heer decal !!! you say correctly, after the helmet has been dug out, it is smeared with machine oil to slow down metal corrosion! after cleaning i will show photo

Yes, the condition of the helmet is poor, but this is a M 42 helmet with a double decal, dug out in a Spanish dugout! Who can show photos of the previously excavated М -42 DD ????????
