M16 DD Heer Transitional
This is an interesting piece, originally a WWI vintage ET 64 that ended its service life as a double decal Heer transitional, factory refurbished in the mid ’30’s with a thick coat of smooth green combat paint, gray lined bird and tri color, and a reinforced aluminum banded liner assembly complete with what appears to be a brown full length chin strap. One odd feature is the presence of Austrian style chin strap bales on the apron - I have never seen this before on an ET shell?!? The bird took an unfortunate hit but still looks pretty good. The tri color is pretty near complete and the paint is about 98%! Hope you like it. Jim G.

What Frank said x2!
Another great looking helmet
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Jim, that is a real beauty. The epitome of a top shelf transitional.
Thanks for showing.

Jim that is a great helmet, my only issue with the helmet is that I don’t own it.
