Thanks for all the info guys. I am somewhat new to the hobby and ww1 is has not (up til now) been my area of interest. Just thought this was worth a go at that price. I am now a little wiser.

cool helmet, looking to learn on this type of helmet also, they seem to be popping up a lot lately in this area, and go dirt cheap, there is one a hour away with the gas mask right now, but cant go because of the weather.....
