Jim, any chance of measuring the depth of the skirt in comparison to one of your Qs, the reason I ask is that seeing this i looked at my Q62 which i found in Germany and it appears it might be a "Shorty", i hadnt noticed any difference before but it certainly appears to be lacking in depth

I am at my office, not at home, but I did measure the skirts of both shells yesterday morning. On the Heer, from the point directly beneath the rear rivet to the edge of the skirt it is approximately 1 1/2 inches, as opposed to the measurement of about 2 inches on the standard ET 64 shell of the Luft. By the way, in the related threads on GHW one of the members mentions a Q shell that he believes is a shorty as well. Keep your fingers crossed. Jim G.

Well unfortunately mine measures just over 1 3/4" so im thinking its not a shorty damn it, hey ho, one day i might find one, thanks anyway Jim
