There is no exact science. Lot numbers give an indication but this is based off the liner band. I have found lot # 3606 with a '38 dated liner band and 3627 with a '37 band and 3644 with a '38 band.
Can you check the liner band (without bending, kinking, breaking it). Does it have a dome stamp inside?
Even the liner band is an approximation.
But basically it is probably in the 37 to 38 range.
