    Question M40 beaded "Windhund" helmet

What can be said about this M40 beaded helmet?
It is not mine, but belong to our local museum. They don't know much about it, so I thought I'll try asking here.
Can it be an MP helmet?

The liner looks strange, and someone did suggest it was a Danish liner. Only if I compare to the 3 different Danish M/23 liners I have, none of them looks anything like this one.

PS. The white writing is a museum number.

Very curious item, not seen a helmet so marked before. Perhaps it is a Finnish rather than German Mod 1940.

I think that was for a member of the Dachshund racing team staff, not 116. PD.
