    Hello All,

I found another helmet I would like some opinions on.
it's an SE66, maybe even looks like an m35?
I would like some discussion about the decal. If the decal is genuine, to me it looks like a KM, or maybe it's a toned heer?
I will get some more and better pictures (close-ups) from the seller soon.
Here are the pics I already have:

    thanks,

    Jakke

The liner looks like has been changed postwar and must fit to the helmets after the 1942 year production. The decal from that picture is look to me also doubty, the final decission will be after a clear look to the stright decal's picture

    Hi Dimas,

The seller just told me that the liner is one size to small for the helmet, he thinks the liner is original. According to him the paint is original and he believes to decal is too, because he hasn't seen a repro one like that one before. But I once read on this forum: "believe the story of the helmet, not the seller". Here are some more pictures:

My thoughts are stay away from this one too. Again this helmet looks messed with. No good shots of the decal make a bad impression, the outside of the helmets looks treated, waxed, varnished, rubbed with something, maybe oil.

What type of helmet are you looking for specifically and what is your budget?

It's looks to me like a M40 and there are some scratches over the painture apparently make by a abrasive or sandpaper.

It's not good to me too.

It looks like a M35 with old style brass rivets.

    Hi Guys,

My eye fell on this one: it's supposed to be a named LW DD M35 (with early eagle) helmet with snow camo restovers.
Your opinions on originality/value are appreciated!
