Re: M40 relic with REAL bailing wire
This I have never seen before!
[COLOR="#EE82EE"]I'm selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I'm out of control, and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

Re: M40 relic with REAL bailing wire
Hi Wayne, interesting this one. Doesnt look like the wire has been pulled through the chinstrap bales or vent lugs recently and the wire coating looks like its seriously discoloured.
Very cool Wayne
take care

Re: M40 relic with REAL bailing wire
Wow, very interesting indeed Wayne. You certainly called it. When I saw those first two photos, I thought no way! Then when you flipped it over and showed the bottom, I was blown away. Nice trigger pull.

If it weren't a relic, it would probably be deemed fake.........!

Re: M40 relic with REAL bailing wire
Absolutely amazing. What is the coating on the wire? Is the wire a solid solo strand or multi stranded?
Mark.
