What's the guess on the maker ET (Thale) ?
Plus is this a freeze fracture?

thank you very much guys, it turned out really great, I did not expect such a result unfortunately, i can not read the maker markings, it's not visible
As for the crack, I thought it was from a pressure wave caused by an explosion of an artillery shell, what you think ?

I am with Rene on the crack result from Freezing being a ground dug helmet in what appears to be a wet environment. Only a guess though.

Ive a couple of helmets with cracks that are not dug ones, so I'm unsure what exactly can cause shell cracking ( other than concussion or ground pressure )

thank you for the opinion it's hard to say how the helmet broke out, unfortunately we'll never know :/
