M40 SD Luftwaffe EF60 - Garage Sale
Nothing particularly special here. M40 SD Luftwaffe. Maker mark looks like EF60 to me, but its hard to make out. The lot number seems alittle odd. Came out of a garage sale in San Francisco. Friend was driving by, saw it on a dresser, bought it and now its with me. Thought I'd share it as a recent find. Best ABN
Nice littlun' ..... the Fulda plant did go up to 6 digits on their M40 production so it could be 100118 just with two different size '0' stamps loaded in the stamper punch.

Dan's correct on the lot number. The first I've seen other than in databases though. So a nice oddball! Overall a great find and helmet.

Thank you for pointing this out. I've never heard this before and now I see exactly what you mean: The "10" up front is bigger than the "0118" that follows.by Danmark
