M40 SE66 Police Lot # 5062

This arrived in the mail today. Purchased from a very good friend and world class helmet collector.

Essentially a beautiful, top shelf M40 SE66 Police. Lot # 5062.

Bordered Police decal 99%. Party Shield 97%. Smooth M35 Spec paint.

Steel liner in excellent condition. Too tight to helmet to determine maker/date but almost definitely 40/41 based on helmet construction. Chinstrap Kritzler K.G., Rebbelroth, dated 1938.

You Inadvertently became the resident “policeman” around here. These photos rule MAP. The helmet is a beauty. Thought it was a green M35 for a second. Paint is great on this one. Feels good to get a new TR Lid in the flock again eh?

Very nice example Michael. I have always especially liked the SE M40's with their parade finish green paint. It's a beauty, well done!
