I really can't be sure one way or the other from those pics and what is going on with that rivett next to the buckle, is that a repair?

The chinstrap is not a standard Wehrmacht one. Looks more post war to me.

Article about: Just bought this m42 Helmet and wanted to show it this is my first Helmet! I paid 680 btw, it is marked hkp 66 serial number 3305 the paint looks pretty blue on some of the pictures I think
