M42 Stahlhelm

Just wanted a few opinions on this M42. Is it original factory paint job? EF64 maker. Picked up at a estate sale, and sat in a barn for years and years and the liner and chinstrap rotted away. And it has a ricochet on the right side. Also has a 43 marking?

We are going to need better pictures. It is too fuzzy to see any detail in the paint.

Hi Mike , the paint looks to be the original finish to me, some good close ups in natural light would be needed to be sure, but I think it is fine from these images. Leon.
