Actually I am a grandfather 4 times and a great grandfather 5 times more to come for sure.
My family raises 1st born big goodlooking boys, younger ones also. The girls are goodlooking too. They have all been trained how to scrap. My oldest great grandson is 7 years old 4' 7" 120 pounds. He is 1/2 way to his black belt in a style called Goju. My brother is teaching him. My brother is a 4th degree black belt. I earned a black belt and then stopped working for a higher rank. I just wanted an edge in cowboy bar fights. I have averaged 1 or 2 a year for the last 47 years. I love the adrenelan rush. My wife gets pissed at me now, she says I am to old for this shit. The last gun fight I was in was 2 years ago. I caught some dirt bags stealing stuff out of a poolhall and museum that I owned at the time. I won.
I have cousins in New Kensington and Harrisburg Pa. Next I am out that way we can get together and visit. I love talking military history. I buy you some beer at your local watering hole.

You're always welcome here in Erie. We could go for a shooting trip as we've got some great ranges.
Cherbourg Would make sence with a Kriegmarine headquarters being there.
There was a very large amont of coastal artillery kriegsmarine there also.
I have a Kriegsmarine helmet from Cherbourg also.
Great stuff Steve.
If you have anyother helmet from Normandy D-day would love to see them.

Off with their heads! Doesn't it always seem that the pot takes the hit at the most unfortunate site! Nice one regardless, one that I would gladly own - a one look M40 KM, and it is great to know from whom you got it, and where it was liberated. Congrat's, Jim G.
