Hi Dave, that looks like a good honest example. These chicken wire helmets are subject to much fakery. Your new purchase exhibits signs of legitimate wear and oxidisation to the wire and paint. I like it.

Dave, balls of steel are needed when buying wire helmets, and it appears this is the real deal.
