Nice lid ruined, solid but otherwise soiled by a greedy dealer/owner...
The claws and upper wing feathers immediately indicate a bogus decal - even to a relative novice like me.
The eagle head and general printing style also indicate a fake.
I hope it does not put you off collecting - there are plenty more helmets out there.
