I believe the helmet to be a M35 DD KM. Thoughts? The eagle does have a gold flake shine to it.

Happy new year everyone. I have been away for the holidays and thank you for the responses that I received. Two follow up questions -
1) do you mean by a layered decal that it would have a darker black edge around the gold eagle?
2) Can anyone with batch information pinpoint a year of production based on the batch number on point me in the right direction to figure this out?

YES HE DOES !! Super rare, great condition.
It will cost more to rebuild it then it will to just buy one that is untouched and original. Some buyers won't want to touch it once it has been pieced together! I would leave it as is. Nice find though, great price for a DD
