    Non-standard drawstring and who knows when the chin strap met the helmet, but it looks like a good solid original.

    Looks like a fairly solid well used example.

    If you do purchase it, take the chinstrap off the front visor (if you can do so without breaking it) as it may eventually snap. Also on a helmet such as a DD Heer or DD Luftwaffe with light coloured paint, the strap can leave a shadow or different shade as the paint underneath doesn’t patina at the same rate.

    Yes, very often is difficoult to know if some one added it later...

    Thank you for the suggestions, if the price stays at a "good level" I try to buy it
