It's a nice relic but Luftwaffe? i can't see any traces of grey paint. Also i'd be wary of buying from a dealer who can't even tell the model of helmet as it's an M 40.

well semi relic I guess, with lots of colour. Ye that alarmed me too, helmet model names are wrong
As a matter of interest who is the dealer?.
Military Might British, American, German, Russian World War II Collectables not sure about reputation level
Not really liking what i see!....
What a shit site, loads of crap on it... Relic Luftwaffe helmet for 450 euros LOL.
A cut m40 helmet to resemble m38 helmet only 250 euro what a STEAL.
Before embarking on helmet purchases please read;

It applies to any helmet.

PS stay away from wires until you have plenty of experience
Hi,
Are you saying that the M42 wire in this tread is fake? - I do not hope so.
...I am about to have this helmet send to Denmark.
Personally I have nothing bad to say about the owner of this shop - I know him a little.
Okay, there are some errors in the text to som items.
He guarantees that this helmet is original - and full refund if not.
I will try to get more info on this helmet and perhaps other pictures.
Regards
Replace
I wouldn't own that wire helmet. You may be trying his refund policy pretty soon IMO.
Wire helmets are the very last kind of helmet a new collector should be looking at. Its like wanting to learn to fly and trying to fly a fully loaded 747 through a hurricane as your first flight. Even highly sophisticated and experienced collectors differ when it comes to wire.
Buyer beware.
