It actually looks like an ex camo. someone has rubbed off the paint to expose the decals. de-values it but on the face of it, it looks a real M35. would like to see some pictures of the liner band against the shell, but i like it
-
Definitely liberated decals. It has potential, but much more detailed pictures are necessary.

Thanks for the quick replies.
Ex camo, maybe it is. Did not think of that.
It sure looks like the decals are liberated, at least the one on the right side.
Do you think both decals have been fiddled with? So it was originally a "no decal"?
I will try and borrow it so I can take some photos.

Hi , welcome to the forum, as the guys say , this is possibly an ex cammo but I am not personally that keen on the decals from this picture. I feel this one may be a complete "mock up". Truly it is an original shell and liner but the draw string is false, the inner paintwork looks more like m17 shade(quite possible though!!) For me I would need a bit more information/pictures. Leon.

It originally was a double decal that had been painted over-apparently with a camouflage paint design. Someone looks to have removed the paint over the decals-apparently preferring to see the decals rather than leaving it in it's original field state which would have actually had more value than it does now.

I would like to see more of the liner before I could make a call on it.

I will get a hold of it next week. Will take photos of liner and close-ups on the decals.
He got it (for free) from a friend some 20+ years ago that was going to throw it away.
Based on the pictures above, anyone have a price idea?
Thinking about $100-$120 in USD (I'm swedish so I will pay in SEK ) but I suspect he wants a bit more. Just a feeling.

Can't really float a value out there until we can see the whole thing, of course. But, if it Is original,100 bucks would be a bargain...

Hello fellow Swede! Looks like a nice helmet from these pics and congratulations. I would certainly pick it up for 100 bucks.
Lycka till!
