I don't see traces of a decal, but my eyes ain't the best. But as said by all here, it looks all good. So nice to have a variant in the collection. I like these types.

No problems Michael, I was not going to buy the helmet but I made a fair offer that I was comfortable with and he took it. I was going to put the money in savings so I look at it in the same way. I can study the helmet for awhile concerning the decal and if I tire of the helmet I can pass it on to a new collector for a fair price.

I think I may see the outlines of a decal on the left side.

Hi Marty, pretty sure that's the remains of the HEER decal to the left, it has been very carefully removed though, the guy clearly did not want to wear a scratched out mess on his head! Leon.
