I guess the only way to tell would be to send it out to be tested. It could just be water damage or as stated earlier, a very sweaty forehead.by HARRY THE MOLE
Members of other forums say that the helmets with "true" blood damaged liners have a really strong, horrible smell to them. Mine doesn't smell. So who knows what it is, either way its a great helmet!
