Single decal M42 helmet original?

Hello, good morning everyone. I have found this helmet, and it is quite interesting, it has an inscription (the soldier's initials I suppose, M.I.). It seems to be in good condition. In my opinion, it is original, but before spending the considerable amount of money it costs, I wanted to consult with you all first. I look forward to your responses.
