What year did helmet manufacturers change the code

Hi am just after some information what year did helmet manufacturers change the code or are there some M42 with the old makers stamp.

Yes there are ET, EF, NS marked M42s. The codes were changed around mid 1943 i believe; also Quist started marking the helmets as the rear of the shirt at the same time.
