The only thing original on this lid is the bird crap. All the rest of it has been messed with IMO. Even the vent hole has had a beating at one point.

IMHO I think the "beating" of the vent hole is actually the entry point for the bullet. Lines up perfectly with the exit hole.by Feuerbach
