WW2 Single Decal SE66 German Helmet

Hello everyone.

I have been considering purchasing a single decal Stahlhelm for some time and I have come across fake after fake. This specific dealer does not deal with many Stahlhelms and they seem to have multiple fakes. The pictures they have given are incredibly blurry and to be honest I don't have my hopes up. However, I thought I might as well get a few knowledgable opinions on the helmet, to see if there is any truth in this. Once again, sorry for the terrible pictures.

The helmet is stamped 8909.

The decal on the helmet is bad in my opinion.

Yes, the seller is quite dodgy. They are selling a 'fully original SS helmet' for 1,100 pounds.

not good. Go to a honest dealer with genuine items, pay a bit more. That is my advice

Fake big foot decal, and even if real are only ever found on Quist helmets.
Dealer should really know this. Avoid in future.

Yeah not much good here, the shell is original, but definitely not the decal and possibly the paintjob, too.
Leather is fake too, liner band could be original.
But not one to pursue.

Thank you for all the responses. It's pretty frustrating seeing how polluted the market is, if it wasn't for the forums 1000s of pounds would be lost each day.
