Hello,
It is an original tropical belt, too bad for the rusted hook
Thanks

Thank you so much for your reply!
You know, I have some feeling that something is not right here!
I had an experience with overcooked replicas! I would like more opinions!
I'd like to hear what Ben Evans thinks?
Looks ok to me.

+1, one original item.

I agree that this is a good belt - with one observation. It appears the hook was re-sewn onto the belt. I don't think it distracts much from the overall appearance. It should look good displayed with a buckle. NH
Thanks a lot, everyone!
Hello,
Neil, sorry but i have to disagree here. In my opinion, the hook is factory sewn. The white thread and the sloppy sewing are the same for the web tongue meant for the buckle. So, both hook and tongue are resewn or they're both factory sewn in a sloppy way.
As i said before, IMO that's a good untouched belt.
This hook needs some good cleaning and should be ok, the point being not to stain the web belt with rust while doing so...
If needed i can show more sloppy but still original sewings
Thanks
