Leather Belt Help Please

I hope this is in the correct Forum; my apologies if not.
I acquired this belt and having trouble with ID. I have had a hard finding a similar buckle end of the belt. The only one I have found was on a DRK buckle. Otherwise no luck. No visible date or acceptance markings so may be a post war Police item. Any thoughts or opinions are appreciated.

Not sure Mate is it a aluminum or steel catch?

Non magnetic, assuming aluminum but I am not sure what other non magnetic metals may have used.

Then I'd put my money on WW2 parade but I could be wrong as I had questioned my own belt! at least it's not West German.

The style of catch reminds me of Soviet belts, could be early East German.
I'm sure someone here will know.
