Yes I believe they are aluminum the rest is steel

The buckle maker is Assmann but as Kirby has mentioned the prongs and sleeve should not really be on the buckle as they are aluminium. Unless this has been done as a repair from spare stock or another earlier buckle, been done post war or the buckle was made on the cusp of transition from aluminium buckles to steel ones. Here it another steel for reference

Also gents remember this eagle, its a one off, bit like an Aurich eagle, if you see this style with the stubby squat head you will know it is an Assmann made buckle
