Looks great at a glance but lots wrong with this buckle. A dress four tab aluminum buckle should never have a green finish. A four tab buckle should never have a leather tab. The tab looks original but the thread looks very thin and is probably a synthetic material. The date would indicate it should be on a steel buckle.

I would say a put together Kirby, the buckle paint should not be on there so has someone period sprayed it and put a tab on it? Who knows but it was never issued this way
