Is it normal that this part is darker green than the rest of the belt?

Could be a repair Chris, have a look at the stitching on it and check it is three ply thread

Probably a bitser, the buckle does not look like it was issued with the belt, but for me the buckle is the star of the show

So not a matching set. The price was a bargain so i can't complain.
I will check it in hand when it comes and see if it has been repaired.
But the dark green part is original too right? The slit holes indicate that it is a tropical part right?
